While developing our Bluetooth® handsfree car kits, we put a special focus on excellent sound quality, especially for music playback. So if you are tired of burning CDs or copy your music to USB sticks, just play your music directly from your smartphone! Thanks to the support of state-of-the-art Bluetooth codecs incl. aptX™, you can now listen to your music via Bluetooth in HiFi sound quality! 1)
Features
Corresponds to "kX-2 VW V1" with additional AUX input/output. This enables music playback in HiFi stereo quality with radios that only support a mono telephone input. See radio compatibility list below for details.

2) A white or red driver information system DIS+ or colored DIS Premium is required to display the menu in the speedometer display

4) Assuming the AUX input at your radio is already activated. Otherwise AUX needs to be coded to be active. If the menu is not displayed in the DIS, it needs to be activated by coding. The coding steps are described in detail in the manual.

A CD changer emulator is only required for radios with footnote 6) and if no real CD changer is available. A CD changer emulator can be selected for radios with footnote 5) if recoding to AUX is not desired. In all other cases, the music is fed in via the radio's AUX input.

8) AUX input may have to be activated. Alternatively, Type 3 + CD changer emulator can also be used.
The radio types are different in terms of the AUX pinout. Thus, please select the correct type fitting to your radio model.
In case the AUX input selectable on the radio, it has to be coded via VAS or VCDS. Please see your local VW/Skoda/Seat dealer for that.
